Valentine's Day Love the Hubby AND Kids
February 14, 2009
Another weekend round up!! And, it’s VALENTINE’S weekend. So, this post will be a crazy dichotomy of stuff. J
Are you like me? Do you struggle about whether to claim this “Sweethearts weekend” as one for you and your hubby, but your kids are clamoring to hear how your family will spend the holiday? On my last birthday, my oldest son said, “What kind of cake will WE have?” I almost couldn’t tell him about my plans for dinner with just Daddy and tickets for a play. He was disappointed. So, this weekend, I’ve decided to not scout out a sitter, but instead make it a family day. As it turns out, my family loves to cook (how did that happen??? Oh yeah, Dad. Good ‘ol Dad or we’d starve…) Anyway, I’m going to take a leap and get to the store today. Then, my family will enjoy baking and cooking with me all day – chocolate covered everything, a strawberry pie, maybe a Pooh valentine movie… fun stuff. And, I’ll try to carve out time for Good ‘ol Dad (who’s lots of fun to hang with) after hours bedtimes. Suggestions to follow.
If you are not opting to stay in, I’ve two thoughts: go out with the family or go out all with your significant other…

Have you ever wondered where the romance and excitement in your relationship has gone since the kids have arrived? It seems that when a couple first falls in love the romance is always close by, each person thinking of the other endlessly throughout the day. However, once that couple has little ones, the romance seems to change along with the diapers. Having an intimate moment with your partner becomes a schedule blip, not a passionate time warp. What happened? Where did it go? How do I get it back? You may often ask yourself these questions and long for some romantic time with your partner once again.
It is with these questions that helped lead me into becoming a Passion Parties Independent Consultant. Not only am I able to keep the romance alive in my own relationship, but I have the opportunity to help other couples keep it alive in theirs. Many things are involved in keeping a relationship healthy and strong but romance always seems to be the one thing that is put on the back burner. I am writing this to tell you that it does not need to be that way. There are little things that can be done throughout the busy day to keep the romance and excitement flaming hot!
The most important thing to remember is that foreplay is a must to get in the "mood". This can start first thing in the morning and the best thing is that the woman can initiate it. If you and your partner leave in the morning with a reminder of something exciting to come that evening, it helps to set the day for an exciting evening. A little tug on the buttocks and a flavorful sensual kiss (you could apply some "fireworks" on your lips before you kiss) will help to set the tone. Don't just stop at the door either, you could send some reminders throughout the day by texting your partner using "Texxxt Message Seductions" ("Looking forward to some hot XOXO later"). As soon as you both get home for the evening why not apply some "Pure Satisfaction UniSex Enhancement Gel" to help get you both aroused and eager to get the little ones to bed for the evening. With this gel on you will both be so excited for what's to come that it will be hard not to think of the romance to follow.
It is also important to set the mood in the bedroom. It is always helpful if the room is clean, the bed is made and some candles are lit. With a clean room you will not be laying there thinking of how much you still have to do; instead it will help you focus on each other and that moment. You could set up a message seduction on your nightstand. Light a couple of "Seduction" candles, in which the candle will melt into a nice warm massage oil that you can pour right on your partner (or them on you), then use the "Octopus Massager" to
help release any tension and activate your erroneous zones. With
little reminders throughout the day, romance can come back to your relationship and help you both fall in love with each other all over again! Why celebrate Valentine's Day one day a year? Add little things to your daily routine and you can enjoy Valentine's Day 365 days a year!

Neighborly Navidad
December 23, 2008
It seems each year I realize just how many neighbors I have that I really don't know. I do, in fact, have a lot of neighbors that I do know. So, I guess I think I'm a "know-it-all". When, come Halloween, I??m always surprised at how many new faces there seem to be. So as our neighborhood's progressive drinking party (sorry, it's not even close to a progressive dinner ) I was excited Read more...
